hk}Y' MAY g 372 Note to File TELECON WITH K. CANADY, DUKE POWER COMPANY AND R. STRAUB, D. STEINKE, B&W ON MAY 8,1972 This call was with reference to three questions requiring clarification in our recent Oconee 2 & 3 review question list.
Question 2.5 deals with transportation accidents involving hazardous material.
I referred him to Bill Gammill for clarification.
Question 4.4 deals with the ASME Code Section III fracture toughness rules which will be revised this summer. Our letter implies that revision had taken place.
I informed them that we were referring to l
the revision to be published in July 1972 and that Art Lower and R.
j Edwards of B&W are familiar with the revision per my discussion with I
Bolosky.
Question 6.2 deals with detection of failure of engineered safety features during operation. I informed them that we meant " normal operation" of the plant.
