OconeefuclearStation Review of Induttrial Security Program We have reviewed Revision 2 to the Industrial Security Plan for the Oconee. liuclear Station and find it satisfactory.
Input for the
- Safety' Evaluation Report is presented below:
-12.5 Industrial Security The plant site and its structures will be protected by security fencing, lighting, surveillance and intrusion equipment, physical barriers, and a guard force. A system of personnel identification and access control to various areas within the plant site boundary has been established. The applicant has also 1stablished administrative arrangements within its security program to effect liaison with law enforcement agencies in the
'l event of a security emergency.
We have reviewed the details of the applicant's Industrial Security Program and determined that it meets the regulatory requirements of AEC Safety Guide No. 17, " Protection Against Industrial Sabotage." We conclude that the program is adequate and provides reasonable assurance that the risk associated with potential acts of sabotage that could lead to a significant threat to the public health and safety is acceptably low.
