l'ii NOTE FOR FILES TELECON WITH KEN CANADY, DUKE POWER COMPANY, AUGUST 30, 1972 STEAM GENERATOR B THERMOCOUPLES - OCONEE UNIT 1 K. Canady called to report that only 54 instead of 60 thermocouples would be reinstalled in the Oconee Unit 1 steam generator B. The original 60 units were a special prepared package that required only 12 penetrations through the steam generator hand hole. There is not time to order another package of this type and so a conventional TC installation had to be made requiring 60 penetrations. The hand hole has only enough room for 54 TC. \\. I. A.
