Jg NOTE TO FILES TELECON WITH KEN CANADY,' DUKE POWER COMPANY Canady called to inform me that the company which has been providing Duke with the anti-:orrosion lubricant for the containment tendons is not producing the product any longer.

(No - Ox - Id (R) 500, Dearborn Chemical Company)

See.FSAR Section 5B 2.4.2.

Therefore, for Unit 3 a substitute product, Visconorust 1601 manufactured by Viscosity 011 Company is being used.

The FSAR will be updated when Duke submits its next amendment.
