Dear Dr. Morris:
Enclosed are three copies of an Affidavit of Service pertaining to my letters of February 11 and 16, 1972 which were addressed to Mr. R. C.
DeYoung supplying comments in reply to questions raised by various government agencies on the AEC Draft Detailed Statement. A copy of these letters was served on the Honorable Reese A. Hubbard, County Supervisor of Oconee County in Walhalla, South Carolina, in accordance with provisions of Section 2.101 of the Commission's Regulations.

..t M 2 d_ M-STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA COUNTY OF MECKLENBURG BEFORE ME, this day personally appeared A. C. THIES, Senior Vice President of Duke Power Company, who, first duly sworn, deposes and says:
THAT on or about 12:15 p.m. of February 23 1972, he did deposit in the U. S. Mail letters dated February 11 and 16, 1972 (with attachments) addressed to Mr. R. C. DeYoung of the Atomic Energy Commission supplying comments in reply to questions raised by the various government agencies on the AEC Draft Detailed Statement for the Oconee Nuclear Station; that these letters were properly stamped and addressed to the Honorable Reese A. Hubbard, County Supervisor of Oconee County, South Carolina.
