Dear Mr. Muller:
In response to your letter of July 10, 1972 please find attached proposed Technical Specification 4.16, Non-Radiological Environmental Surveillance. This specification identifies surveillance and monitoring programs designed to measure the effects resulting from chemical and thermal discharges of Oconee Nuclear Station on the surrounding environment. The specification also requires that certain operating procedures be implemented to minimize the thermal effects on Lake Keowee.
