Engelken, Director, RO:V SECURITY INSPECTION OF OCONEE STATION The attached memorandsm contains provisions that the Directorate of Licensing considers the minimum requirement for acceptable inspection and search procedures. Their position was generated as a result of inad.squata search procedures described in inspection report Nos.
50-269/74-6, 50-270/74-5, and 50-287/74-8 prepared for a licensed power reactor in Region II; OCONEE STATION.
The provisions of the DL interpretation are provided for information and Euidance until the requirement that " Identification and search of all personnel she.11 be r.ade..." becomes a reEulation for all licensees. This statement appears in Part 73.55(c) (1) of a proposed amendment to 10 CFR 73 that is presently at the Commission level.
