ATOMIC ENERGY COMMISSION DOCKET NO.-50-269 DUKE POWER COMPANY Order Extending Provisional Construction Permit Completion Date By application dated December 20, 1971, Duke Power Company requested an extension of the latest completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit No. CPPR-33.
The permit authorizes the construction of a pressurized water nuclear reactor designated as the Oconee Nuclear Station Unit 1 at the applicant's site in Oconee County, South Carolina, approximately eight miles northeast of Seneca, South Carolina.
Good cause having been shown for this extension pursuant to Section 185
-of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended, and Section 50.55(b) of 10 CFR Part 50 of the Commission's regulations, IT IS HEREBY ORDERED THAT the latest-completion date specified in Provisional Construction Permit so. CPPR-33 is extended from January 31, 1972 to June 30, 1972.
