It is requested that the target date for the Reactor Systems Branch input for the ECCS evaluation of Oconee Unit 1 be changed from January 30, 1976, to November 28, 1975. This change is necessary due i
to the estimated date, December 12, 197S, at which Oconee Unit I will reach 250 EFPD of operation on its current cycle. The present techni-cal specifications do not include a curvo for Control Rod Group With-drawal Limits for 4-pump operation after this point because it was determined during the evaluation of the Cycle 2 amendment request that the ECCS IAC were not met for this pump combination beyond 250 EFPD.
Rod withdrawal limit curves appropriate for opeaation beyond 250 EPPD have been included in the licensee's July 9,1975, ECCS FAC submittal. Thus, the ECCS review must be completed sooner than presently scheduled in order to prevent facility power reductions.
