Dear Mr. Rusche:

l On January 14,.1976, eight of the 24 condenser cooling water (CCW) intake screens at the Oconee Nuclear Station were inspected. A total of 20,860 small fingerling fish, weighing 54.36 Kgs., had collected on the screens.

The fish were removed from the screens and categorized, where possible., as to screen location, type, size, degree of decomposition, and weight. This information is tabulated in Enclosure 1.

The mortality of these fish had an insignificant effect on the fisheries resources in Lake Koewee.
