FLOODIfiG OF OCO';EE TURBIliE DUILDING Duke Power Company has a special task force assigned to review this occurrence. They are performing a comprehensive review to determine what long term design modifications are needed to preclude a repeat occurrence regardless of a pipe break location.
The current schedule l
calls for Duke Power to complete and submit its proposed modification in the February-March 1977 time frame.
PSB intturn will complete its j
review in May 1977. We have requested that Duke Power periodically advise us of their progress and subnit preliminary information in regard to the design approaches they intend to take. This will afford us '.ne opportunity to make timely comments on their inte.1ded course of ac.:ior,
