I In response to your Technical Assistante Request ORB-1-191, dated October 3,1975, the Plant Systems Branch has reviewed the submittal made by the ifcensee regarding proposed exemptions from the requirements of Appendix J to 10 CFR 50.

positions for the implementation of Appendix J to operating plants.
Our determinacions relative to acceptability of specific proposed j
exemptions aad modifications are provided in the body of this evalua-tion.
