Areas examined during the inspection included operational; safety verification,

monthly surveillance and' maintenance observations, engineered safety features

walkdown, and followup of 10 CFR'Part 21 Reports, IE Bulletin 88-07, and'

Infonnation Notices. Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective

,

examination < of procedures and representative records, interviews with '

,

personnel, and observations by the inspectors. The inspection findings are

documented in the enclosed inspection report.

During this inspection, it was found that certain of your activities were in

violation of;NRC: requirements. .In this instance, in.accordance with

!

Section V.A. of the NRC's Enforcement Policy, no citation is being issued for

the violation described in paragraph 4 of the enclosed inspection report.

We have also examined actions you have taken with regard to previously

identified inspection findings. The status of these items is identified in

paragraph 7 of the enclosed report.
