SUMMARY
REPORT FOR THE 1989 REFUELING OUTAGE i
As set forth in the provisions of ASME Section XI, enclosed is the Inservice Inspection Report for North Anna Power Station Unit 1. This report is a summary of examinations performed to-satisfy both the first and second inservice inspection interval requirements. Should you require more detailed information, the entire report will be maintained on file at the station and the corporate office.

North Anna Unit 1 ended its first inspection interval on December 24,1988 (interval extended by 201 days per letter Serial No. 88 486, dated August 25, 1988).
Remaining first interval examinations were completed this outage as allowed by the i
Code's one year grace period. Second interval examinations were initiated during this outage.
For the first inspection interval, in accordance with Article IWA 6220 of the 1974 Edition of ASME Section XI with addenda through the Summer 1975, a Form NIS 1, Owner's Report for Inservice Inspections,is provided with this report as Attachment 1.
For the second inspection interval, in accordance with IWA-6230 of the 1983 Edition of ASME Section XI with addenda through the Summer 1983, a Form NIS 1, Owner's Report for Inservice Inspections, is provided with this report as Attachment 11.
In accordance with ASME Section XI,1980 Edition, Winter 1981 Addenda and 1983 Edition, Summer 1093 Addenda, the NIS 2 Forms, Owner's Report of Repair and Replacement, are also provided as Attachment Ill.
