South Texas Project Units 1&2 Docket Nos. STN50-498, STN50-499 Possible Reportable Deficiency Concerning NPS AISI 1035 Piping Supports On July 3,1980, Houston Lighting & Power Company notified your office of a potentially reportable deficiency regarding the use of AISI 1035 material in the fabrication of NPS piping supports.

An evaluation has been perfomed which shows that this condition, if left uncorrected, would not have adversely affected the safety of operations of the plant and, therefore, is not reportable under 10CFR50.55(e). Thus, this matter is considered closed.
