1 NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMISS GN REGULATORY GUIDE Notice of Issuance and Availability The Nuclear Regulatory Commission has issued a revision to a guide in its Regulatory Guide Series. This series has been developed to describe and make available to the public methods acceptable to the NRC staff of implementing specific parts of the Commission's regulations and, in some cases, to delineate techniques used by the staff in evaluating specific problems or postulated accidents and to provide guidance to applicants concerning certain of the infor-mation needed by the staff in its review of applications for pemits and licenses.
Revision 2 te Regulatory Guide S.52, " Standard Format and Content of a Licensee Physical Protection Plan for Strategic Special Nuclear Material at Fixed Sites (Other than Nuclear Power Plants)," identifies the information that should
'be included in a physical protection plan for strategic special nuclear material at fixed sites other than nuclear power,, 2nts and suggests a format for its presentation. This guide was revised to reflect recent changes to the Commission's physical protection regulations.
Coments and suggestions in connection with (1) items for inclusion in guides currently being developed or (2) improvements in all published guides are encouraged at any time. Coments should be sent to the Secretary of the Ccamission, U.S.
