Gentlemen: of this letter includes revised pages 1, 2,
and 6 of of Reference 1.
The Safety / Relief Valves section of page 6 has been updated to include direct position indication of the valves in the Control Room.
This plant modification was completed in April 1980.
The High Pressure Core Spray section of page 2 has been corrected to include initiation by a 5 PSIG Containment Building pressure signal which serves as the diverse parameter to actuate High Pressure Core Spray.
Pages 1 and 6 have been revised to show that valve position indi-cations in the Control Room for various systems are direct, as described in Section 2.1.3a in Appendix A of Reference 2.
Position indication for each of the specified valves is provided by limit switches which give reliable position indication of the valve stem.
