Decay Heat Removal System Operability
Dear Sir:
Our letter, Reference (b), in response to Reference (c), indicated that blocking the Safety Injection Activation System would also automatically block containment isolation.
Subsequent review has determined that this is not the case. Containment isolation must be blocked independently; however, this action has no af fect upon the operation of the Residual Heat Removal (RHR)
System.
Therefore, this information does not alter the conclusions derived or actions described in Reference (b), to ensure the operability of the RHR system.
