Oyster Creek Nuclear Generating Station Docket No. 50-219 I. E.Bulletin 80-11 In accordance with the requirements of I._.
Bulletin No. 80-11, we have identified all masonry walls at Oyster Creek that are in proximity to or have attachments from safety related piping or equipment such that wall failure could affect a safety related system.
Attachment No. 1 lists each wall, the significant equipment associated with the wall where at least one safety related system may be affected by wall failure, and the priority that has been assigned for the purpose of scheduling the re-evaluation of the wall.
Priorities are based on a preliminary engineering review which includes such factors as the wall locations, type construction, physical appearance and the vulnerability and number of safety related equip-ment possibly affected. Our field inspections have revealed no cases of safety related piping attached to masonry walls.
Attachment No. 2 provides a description and schedule of our program to reevaluate the design adequacy of the walls.
