Gentlemen:
Your telephone request of January 26, 1977, asked that we provide piping isometrics which indicate Safety Injection configuration and potential for submergence under LOCA conditions.
Our July 9, 1975, submittal to you indicated all motor operated valves which would become submerged following LOCA. Attached find three (3) copies of an isometric of the Decay Heat Removal Systera (Low Pressure Injection System) and the Core Flooding System. Those motor operated valves which may become submerged during LOCA are indicated in red. Justification that no safety implica-tions are associated with the submergence of these valves was provided in our aforementioned July 9, 1975, letter.
No isometric drawing is being provided concerning the Makeup and Purifica-tion System (High Pressure Injection System) as no motor operated valves are present inside the reactor building which would be subject to submergence under LOCA conditions.
