Our letter of March 15, 1978 forwarded a list of inspectors from this office who were to be issued permanent, non-employee, no-escort-required picture badges for your plant as authorized by 10 CFR 73.55(d)(5). This list has been revised and a copy is attached.
Please retire the badge for J. E. Gagliardo.
Other NRC personnel who visit your site may have their identities verified by the Resident Inspector or other NRC inspectors on the list, or by contact with the Region IV Personnel Officer at (817)334-3452, or (afterhours)bytheDutyOfficerat(817)334-2841.
All NRC employees are subject to the identification and search require-ments of 73.55(d)(1). The Region IV inspectors on the list will be treated as employees not regularly empitied at the site, except for the Resident Inspector who will be treated as a regular employee. Other NRC personnel will be treated as normal plant visitors.
All listed inspectors should be given any special indoctrination needed for them to have prompt access to all protected and vital plant areas.
Other NRC personnel may, at your option, be given a short special indoctrination sufficient for them to have unescorted access to the portected area.
