I Curing the perfor:2nce of functional testing of one cf the Unit 2 c:ntainment purge valves folleving =ainten nce, tha valve cpaned when th2 cenual control switch was coved to the open pcsitica but failed to cicsc when the switch was placed in the cle::d p::ition.
In the Pcint Beach facility design, the redundant pncu:: tic operated, air to open centainment purge supply valves cra ::nually centrolled by a single switch. For testing purpcscs during facility operatien, in:tre=ent air 10 secured to one valva that r::cins closed t: :intain f
