DAVIS-BESSE ACCIDENTAL DAMAGE TO PUMP VOLUTE NO. 701N0241 The attached report of an inquiry from the subject licensee is transmitted for information. The volute, identified in the attached inquiry report by serial number, is for one of the plant primary coolant pumps.
The licensee was informed that the incident is considered to be fully reportable in keeping with the requirements of 10 CFR Part 50.55(e) and our impression is that the 30-day requirement will be accomplished on schedule.
