the radiological controls activities at tie site during the refueling outage,

- and also to review the status of the radiological controls program and

' implementation of short and long range ALARA measures.

Within the scope of this ins)ection, no violations were identified. Most

activities observed during. tie inspection were performed in accordance with

good radiolo ical practices. An exception was some aspects of the activities

conr.ected wi h fuel reconstitution in the fuel storage building, but concerns

regarding this activity were immediately addressed by your staff. ALARA

functions connected with outage work were found to be good. There is, however,

'

concern regarding the termination of corporate assessment of the site

'

radiological controls program and activities.

Some areas for improvement identified during this inspection were discussed with

your site staff and corrective actions were being im lemented before the end of
