Box296 1O Austin Avenue Greenville, RI 02828 Tel: 401-949-4733 Fax: 401-949-0220 November 7, 2019 U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Attn: Document Control Room Washington, DC 20555-0001 Subject Potentially Degraded Snubber SF1154 Hydraulic Fluid Batch ZJS1518 Anal Report per 10 CFR Part 21 We have completed our evaluation pertaining to fluid from the subject batch that was provided by Lake Engineering Company and have concluded that It does not represent a substantial safety hazard at any of the US nuclear plants to which It was provided or at which It was ultimately used. The plant specific status in this regard is summarized In the below table:

Three Mlle Island Fluid used in one safety related snubber No substantial safety hazards Nine Mlle Point Fluid used in one safety related snubber No substantial safety hazards Clinton Fluid used In some installed snubbers No substantial safety hazards Point Beach Unit 2

  • Fluid used in one safety related snubber No substantial safety hazards Duane Arnold Fluid used in some Installed snubbers No substantial safety hazards 1

Indian Point 2 Fluid used in one installed snubber No substantial safety hazards Palisades 2 Fluid used In one safety related snubber No substantial safety hazards 1 Fluid was originally provided to Wyle Laboratories (currently NTS) and was subsequently Installed in one snubber at Indian Point 2.

2 Fluid was originally provided to Fronek Anchor/Darling Enterprises where It was used in a Bergen-Paterson snubber that was then shipped to Palisades Station.
