C'eneric Letter 89-07, " Power Reactor Safeguards Contingency Planning for Surface Vehicle Bombs," directed Arizona Public Service Company (APS), pursuant to 10 CFR 50.54(f), to confirm in writing that we have included in the PVNGS safeguards contingency planning, short term actions that could be taken to protect against attempted radiological sabotage involving a land vehicle bomb if such a threat were to materialize. This letter confirms that the above action has been taken, t

that procedures are in place to address such a contingency, and that a revision to the PVNGS Security Plan (the PVNGS Contingency Plan is included as Chapter 8 of the Security Plan) has been prepared and is being submitted concurrent with this letter.
