This is to acknowledge receipt of a change to Revision 7 of the Clinton Power Station Emergency Plan dated September 11, 1989, which revised a portion of Emergency Classification Guide Table 4-4a, Page 11 and lla.

This revision was received in our office on September 19, 1989.

We have reviewed the changes to the Clinton Cower Station fuerger,cy Plan and r

These changes are, therefcre, accepttble.

On October 24,198h your staf f ns advised of <. minor typographic *;l error (on:ission of the word "screm*) in the revision. We were advised that this would be corrected.

As you are aware,10 Crt 50.54(ci) requues prior NRC appraval of any changes to scor emergency plans which may decrease their effectiveness.

However, if your safety review assures that there will be no decreast in effectiveness, then sdch ch ngec may be made without prior ARC approval.

In either case, you must furnish copies of each change in accordance with 10 CFR 50.54(q). Also, any changes to the Emergency Plan Implementing Procedures should be made in accordance with requirements of 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix E, Section V.

In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790 of the Commission's regulations, a copy of this letter will be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
