Dear Mr. Fay:
This is to acknowledge receipt of your letter dated Sehtember 22, l'989 which transmitted revised portions of the Point Beach Nuclear Plant Security Plan in response to our comments which were transmitted to you by our letter dated August 8, 1989.
This letter also refers to additional clarifications to the Security Plan transmitted by Mr. Clark D. Meyer to Mr. J. L. Belanger of my staff by letters dated October 2, 1989 and October 11, 1989.
We have reviewed the submitted changes / clarifications and have determined that they are consistent with the provision of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are acceptable.
Therefore, your approved security plan consists of Revision #1 dated January 26, 1989 as amended by letters dated July 6,1989 (C. W. Fay to L. R. Greger), September 22, 1989 (C. W. Fay to L. R. Greger), October 2, 1989 (C. D. Meyer to J. Belanger) and October 11, 1989 (C. D. Meyer to J. Belanger).
We understand that you intend to publish the security plan upon receipt of this notification. The original and four copies should be transmitted to the Document Control Desk in accordance with established procedures.
