In the Matter of Duke Power Company Perkins Nuclear Station (Dobbess No. STN 50-488, 489 & 490)
Lear Members of the Board:
Am in reciept of Staff's Response of May 5, 1980 to my Petition of April 15, 1980 and the Memorandum and Order of May 7,1980 of thfAtomic Safety and licencing Appeal Board.
Both appear to ignor/e my Request No. (1) in my Petition for sixty days in which to file documents in support of the allegations in the Petition.
Am hopefuly this request will reesAve due consideration.
This affidavit is in preparat$ nax-and will be filed soonect.
A personal note.
Petition names no individuals and purposely speaks h the impersonal Staff.
Petitioner believes this impersonal Staff suffers from that current frightful disease "bureacratitis" the symptoms of which are a search for the " magic words" that compel"J a predetermined decision advantageous to the " turf" Staff seeks to protect.
Most people concede that this disease needs a cure but like the weather everyone talks about.it but does nothing about it.
Hopefully the Board will opt to hear the substance of the j
Petition rather than become emeshed in bureacratic proceedures.
