This modification constitutes acceptance of your offer by the Government and the Contract is hereby modified as follows:
ARTICLE II - PERIOD OF PERFORl1ANCE - is hereby amended to extend the Contract for the period [1 arch 30,1980 through September 30, 1980, and to read as follows:
" Performance of this contract shall begin on July 3,1979, and shall not extend beyond September 30, 1980, unless the period is further extended by amendment of the Contract.
