REVISIONS TO FUNDAMENTAL NUCLEAR MATERIAL CONTROL PLAN With reference to activities authorized by SNM-1097, General Electric Company hereby submits the latest revisions to the Fundamental Nuclear Material Control (FNMC) Plan for the fuel fabrication facility in Wilmington,. North Carolina.
Appropriate changes have been made in the FNMCP to include hydrofluoric acid from the GECO conversion process as an additional liquid discharge stream.
In addition, included are changes to allow the truck scales presently used in weighing UNH tank trucks to be used for HF shipments also (see Reference 2).
Pursuant to 10 CFR 2.700 Mf, General Electric requests that this information be withheld from public disclosure as this material identifies General Electric procedures for saf eguarding licensed special nuclear material.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 17,0.31, enclosed is a General Electric check for
$150 for processing these FNMC Plan changes.
General Electric personnel would be pleased to discuss the revisions to the FNMC Plan with you and members of your staff as you deem necessary.
