This letter confinns our discussion on the water hamer tests for the auxiliary fee &ater systera.
As specified in Technical Specification 7.2.3, we approve the procedure to be used to conduct the water hamer test, as described in your letter of April 15,1980, provided that the set up for the auxiliary feedwater to the steam generator utilizes the nonnal operating procedure and that no throttling takes place until the feedwater ring is covered.
