Gentlemen:
This refers to your original response of February 25, 1980, and a
supplemental response of April 30, 1980, informing us of steps you have
taken to correct the items of noncompliance concerning activities under
NRC Operating License No. NPF-4, brought to your attention in our letter
of January 29, 1980. We will examine your corrective actions and plans
during subsequent inspections.
With respect to Item C, you stated that an engineer will be added as a
third level of review.
In our view, this additional review should be
unnecessary if your existing system for reviewing surveillance tests
was implemented as currently described in your controlling procedures.
