Dear Mr. Cavanaugh:
By letter dated April 16, 1980, you provided infonnation on the design of the Reactor Coolant Pump (RCP) Oil Collection System for Arkansas Nuclear One, Unit No.1, (Item 3.15 of our Fire Protection SER dated August 22,1979). We 'have reviewed this information and detennined that an appropriate design has been selected.
Based on our evaluation, we conclude that the RCP Oil Collection System will adequately protect against an oil leak and, therefore, is acceptable.
