Narrative

Report for LER 50-366/1930-078 y

With the unit in cold

shutdown, while performing the ?!S T v lenkage contcol systen LSFT per 11H P 3 016,

reiny 2E32-K3311

(

uns de-energized to simulate high steam line, pres sure.

'P w o

.losed uhen they were supposed to contacts of this retny stuck c

open.

Opening of these contacts vould have prevented energizing on relay 2 E '12 -K 4 P., which in the system initiation rclay.

The intent of this logic in to' prevent the ve'ense of stenn to the reactor building, if the stenn line pressure is i

above 35 psIC, by preventing the opening of the hiced valves.

I Two other contacts of relay 2E32-K333 will open on reiny I

de-energization to provent energizing of relay 2E32-K5n.

This will also prevent openine, of the biced valves.

These contacts were functioning properly.

Thus, the s i n g 1. c failure of the other contacts did not cause nn.y threat to public henith or sa fety.

The cause of failure of these relny contacts is unknown.

The reiny uns repinced and retested prior to startup.

All contacts of the new rciny functioned properly.

This is a

non-repetitive occurrence.

The unit is now in full compliance no further reporting is required.
