8005150 APPENDIX A NOTICE OF VIOLATION Georgia Power Company License Nos. CPPR-108 CPPR-109 Based on the NRC inspection February 5-8, 1980, certain of your activities were apparently not conducted in full compliance with NR.C requirements as indicated below. These items have been categorized as described in correspondence to you dated December 31, 1974.
As required by Criterion V of Appendix B to 10 CFR 50, and implemented by the PSAR, " Activities affecting quality shall be prescribed by... and shall be accomplished in accordance with these instructions, procedures and d rawings. " Procedure VIII-3 (12/18/79) requires identification of welding electrodes on holding ovens to prevent mixing of heat / lot / control numbers.
Contrary to the above, on February 6, 1980, an oven in the Fab Shop Rod Shack used for storage of electrodes for safety-related pipe welding contained electrodes that were not identified on the holding oven. These electrodes had no heat / lot / control / numbers on them but were mixed with other electrodes that were identified.
This is an infraction.
