NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL 0F APPLICATION - ERIE NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 By letter dated January 23, 1980, your attorney requested the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board designated for this proceeding to terminate the proceedings for the Erie Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2.
By order dated January 28, 1980, the Atomic Safety and Licensing Board dismissed the proceedings. Accordingly, the Conmission considers the application submitted by Ohio Edison Company on behalf of itself and the The Toledo Edison Company, The Cleveland Electric Illuminating Company, Duquesne Light Company and Pennsylvania Power Company to be withdrawn.
A copy of the Notice of Withdrawal of Application, which has been forwarded to the Office of the Federal Register for publication, is enclosed for your infor-mation.
Our Office of Administration will contact you regarding fees due, if any, to cover review costs in accordance with 10 CFR Part 170.
