NORTH ANNA POWER STATION CONTROL ROOM DESIGN MODIFICATIONS NORTH ANNA POWER STATION, UNIT N0.1 (NA-1)
Recent control room design reviews conducted by the Virginia Electric and P:.zer Company and the NRC have ' identified human factor deficiencies for which the NRC staff will' require corrective actions prior to escalating p:wer beyond 5 percent at NA-2.
It is our understanding that these short term corrective actions will be irplemented by VEPC0 at NA-1 in the same time frame as for NA-2.
We request that you provide a schedule for any of these corrective actions to be implemented on NA-1.
Also, we request that you provide the procedures for notifying the operators at NA-1 of any short term corrective actions or changes which you believe could affect continued safe operation at NA-1.
We request that your response be provided to us within seven days receipt of this letter.
