Dear Mr. Denton:

The North Anna Power Station procedure to sample the service water pump house drain system for turbidity and suspended solids has been changed.

This letter serves as notification pursuant to Atomic Safety and Licensing Appeal Board Decision, ALAB-578.

The change to the periodic test is to collect a sample from each of six drains under the service water pump house and test them collec tively.

The procedure had originally taken only two samples and analyzed them sr.parately.
