Crystal River Unit 3 Docket No. 50-302 Operating License No. DPR-72 IE Bulletin 79-01B - ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION OF CLASS IE EQUIPMENT
Dear Mr. O'Reilly:
We have completely reviewed the scope of IE Bulletin 79-01B as requested and have determined that the actions required by Items 4 and 5 can be com-pleted by June 30, 1980.
The responses, as required by Items 1, 2 and 3, are on schedule and will be submitted to you by April 21, 1980 as was indi-cated in our March 6, 1980 letter.
We have estimated that 1600 manhours or 40 manweeks are required to com-plete this response. Approximately 700 manhours have been expended to date which mostly involved the actions required by Items 1, 2 and 3.
Some of the problems encountered that prevent meeting the schedule outlined in the Bulletin include the following:
1.
Time consuming searches of in-house files to locate and compare environmental data and documentation for all equipment included in the scope of the Bulletin.
l 2.
The many contacts required with vendore in cases where in-house data is incomplete (particularly for aquipment located outW4 containment).
l 3.
Developing the service condition profiles for all of the equip-ment identified.
