45-DAY RESPONSE TO IE BULLETIN 79-01B

Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

Attached you will find our 45-day response to your bulletin of January 17, 1980. The slight delay in the submittal of this response was discussed with Mr. Ray Hardwick of your staff on March 3,1980. As noted in the report, there are substantial gaps in the available data due to discrepancies discovered in the data provided by General Electric. These discrepancies are being resolved, and the available additional data will be provided in our 90-day respcase.

Yours very truly, B.

. Furr Vice President Nuclear Operations
