Beaver Valley Power Station Unit No. 2 Docket No. 50-412 Infraction No. 79-09-01 Cable Tray Separation-Drawing Review This letter is a response to a NRC letter dated January 16, 1980 concerning an audit at the Beaver Valley Unit #2 jobsite on December 11-13, 1979 which resulted in Inf raction No. 79-09-01 (cable tray barriers).
As a result of the infraction, all Category I cable tray drawings were reviewed for conformance to the required separation cziteria.
The following plan drawings were found to be not in conformance with these criteria:
12241-RE-34A 12241-RE-34D 12241-RE-34AG 12241-RE-34F 12241-RE-34AH 12241-RE-34G 12241-RE-34B All the above plan drawings and associated section drawings were updated by interim revision as of January 15, 1980.
In order to avoid further items of noncompliance, project procedure 2BVM-41 is being revised to require that the Engineers will review final safety related cable tray drawings for conformance to barrier requirements on a schedule to support tray cover installa-tion, which is the latest time for barriers to be installed.
