WPPSS NUCLEAR PROJECT NOS. 3 & 5 IE BULLETIN 79-28, "POSSIBLE MALFUNCTION OF NAMC0 MODEL EA180 LIMIT SWITCHES AT ELEVATED TEMPERATURES"
Dear Mr. Engelken:
The following is a response to your request for information on the subject IE Bulletin as it applies to the WNP-3/5 projects.
The subject limit switch model has been specified for use at WNP-3/5.
All concernsd contractors and subcontractors will be informed of the subject matter and they will be requested to identify, if any, the limit switches which fall in the category mentioned in the Bulletin.
If any limit switches are found such that their serial number falls between 02-79 and 08-79, their top gasket shall be replaced according to the manufacturer's recommendations.
