Tnree Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit II (TMI-2) Operating License No. DPR-73 Docket No. 50-320 Mini-Decay Heat Removal System (MDHR) Operability As requested in a telephone conversation of January 23, 1980 by George Kalman/NRC and W. J. Papproth/GPU, the following information is provided concerning the MDHR system: 1. Estimated system completion, and turnover to startup is February 8,1980 (except HVAC). 2. Completion of the HVAC is estimated to occur on or about February 18, 1980. 3. Completion of system testing and turnover to TMI-II operations is estimated to occur March 1, 1980. Delays have been incurred as a result of design iterations and purchase part delays. Additionally, enclosed please find a copy of the most recent construction and turnover schedule.
