Dear Mr. Barton:

{ ~ l. The 1978 Met Ed TMI Unit 2 Constructicn Sudget is submitted as Encicsure (1). The budget includes the period frca January 1978 though June 1978, which because of Met Ed billing lag is actually the period from Decenter 1977 through May 1978. The total dollar I value of the budget is $5,724,500. J e b d IL 2. The basic budget i~ncludes four pages (numbered 1-4), the first of which is a summary page. The basic budget is follcaed by three pages of itemizations (lettered A-C) in which various items on page three of the budget are further itemized. The budget is followed by Enclosure (2) which ccntains the assumptions and explanations for budgeted amounts. 3. Per the September 20, 1977 GPUSC management meeting at TMI, it is assumed that sufficient "4200 money" will be budgeted by your organization to cover ccmpletion of incomplete construction work items remaining at the time of Commercial Operation.
