B&W has received the attached request for infomation concernine the loss of pressurizar level indication at the B&W plants from the NRC Region III office. The Res: ion III office is requesting this infor-j mation based on their feelinn that a loss of pressuri er icvel indication violates Criterion 13 - Instru-entation and Control which states

" Instrumentation shall be provided to monitor variables and systees

'over their anticipated rance for nomal operations, for anticicated operational occurrences, and for accident conditions as approoriate to ensure adequate safety....".
