Dear Judge Bennett:
We have assisted Mayor Rood and the Town of Cornelius in conncction with Mr. Bouknight's letters of February 16 and February 22, 1973, concerning continued participation of the Town of Tornelius in the.
above-reforcnced prococdings. The Board c.C Coumi;sioners of the Town of Cornelius has carefully considered the status of the Town's participations in these proceedings and the consec uences of the Town's withdrawing from participation.
The Board of Commissioners has decided that it is in the best interest of the Town of Cornclius that it withdrau from membership of the Piedmont Electrocities Association and from continued intervention in the above-referenced proceedings. On March 19, 1973, the Board of Ccmmissicnars passed a formal resolution, the original of which we enclose, formally signifying *. ithdraual as an intervenor.
We appreciate the cooperation which you have given to the Town of Cornelius in allowing them additional time to intelligently evaluate the situation and reach a decision.
' Very truly yours,
