.~s-This memorandum supplements our previous one on this subject d=*=d December 21, 1966.
A copy of A=mnd=ent No. 3 dated April 29, 1967, to Duke Power Company's application is attached for your use.
A==ad===c No. 3 includes a new application for a third pressurized water nuclear reactor to be knova as "Oconee Nuclear Station, Unit 3."
This new reactor facility la to be constructed adjacent to Unit Nos.1 and 2 at the Company's Oconee site in eastern Oconee County, apprewimmtaly eight milee northeast of Senetca, South Carolina.
Ihe new Oconee Statica Unit No. 3 is scheduled for completion between November 1,1972 and August 1,1973.
h applicant estimates that the total cost of the Oconee Nuclear Station, Units 1, 2 and 3. including the initial core for each unit will be approx-instely $340,850,000. N additica of Unit 3 will bring the total capacity developed at the Oconee site to 2622 megawatts (electrical).
