Dear Mr. Moseley:

Please refer to Mr. John G. Davi

  • letters of June 30, 1972 and February 15, 1973 and my letters of December 5, 1972 and February 22, 1973 regarding verification of minimum wall thickness requirements for valves important to nuclear safety for Oconee Units 1, 2, and 3.

Enclosed are ten copies of Revision 2 to our wall thickness measurement report.

This revision is comprised of two parts:

(1) Addendum I to Attachment 2, which concerns measurement technique and accuracy.

(Although Attachment 2 has not been submitted to you, the meaning of this addendum is self-evident.)

(2) Appendix A, which presents the results of the wall thickness measurements program for Oconee 2.

For your review, I am sending the summarization of our program for Ocoaee 2, less the actual records which appear as Attachments A-1 and A-2 to the report.

Attachment A-3, " Engineering Analysis of Wall Thickness," is included with the enclosed material. Appendix A, complete with all attachments, is available to your inspector for examination at the site.

/

Ve truly yours,.
