Dear Mr. Moseley:
On March 1,1974, Duke Power Company me' with representatives of your staff to discuss the pressurizer power-operated relief valves at Oconee Nuclear Station.
In that meeting, we agreed to supply additional infor-mation concerning the acceptability of these valves.
Therefore, please find attached a March 24, 1974 amendment to Report No. 1143, " Resolution of Acceptance of Electromatic Relief Valves IRV-67 (RC-66)," and a March 23, 1974 amendment to " Evaluation of Weld Joint Design on Soundness and Integrity of Weld and Base Metal in Electromatic Relief Valves IRV-67 (RC-66)."
This information supplements the above-mentioned reports which were trans-mitted to you on November 30, 1973. We believe that this information is sufficient to demonstrate the acceptable operability of the pressurizer power-operated relief valves.
